Phase 1: Create the API Application

  1. Access the Portal: Head over to the Goodwill Developer Portalarrow-up-right.

  2. Login: Click Sign In and use your Goodwill Client ID and Password.

  • Initiate App: Once logged in, click on the Create New App button.

Enter App Details:

  • App Name: You can name this Arrownect (or anything you prefer).

  • Redirect URL: Carefully copy and paste the following URL:

  • Description: (Optional) You can write "Algo trading connection."

Phase 2: Security & IP Whitelisting

Goodwill requires a Static IP to ensure that only your authorized Arrownect server can send orders to your account.

  1. Get the IP: Log in to your Arrownect account, go to My Servers, and copy the Static IP listed there.

  2. Whitelist on Goodwill: In the Goodwill App creation screen, find the Whitelisted IP field and paste the Static IP.

  3. Save: Click Submit or Save to generate your credentials.
