Guiding Principles for how to get consumer key and secret

1. Step 1

   To start click on this link- https://www.kotaksecurities.com/trading-tools/kotak-neo-trading-platform/trading-api/

2. Step 2

   Following your registration for the Neo TradeAPIs, you will receive an email from the Kotak team which included the your API details

3. Step 3

   Please go to the API portal by Clicking here and use the email credentials to login.
4. Step 4

   Once you logged into the API gateway, go to Applications

   
5. Step 5

   Please click on "Default Application" as shown in Figure 1.0 below. Alternatively, you can click on the "Add New Application" button to create a new application for use, as shown in Figure 1.1.

   CREATE NEW APPLICATION: Follow the steps below to create a new application and add subscriptions. **Note: A valid subscription is required to log in to AlgoMojo. 👉 - To create a new application, click the Add New Application button as shown below.

   👉 - Fill in the application name and all the fields. Once filled, click the save button, as shown in the image below.

   

   👉 - After successfully creating your app, you will be directed to the overview page. Next, go to the "Auth Tokens" section to generate your key, as illustrated below image.

   

   👉 -Fill the integer 86400 in all input fields, then click the "Generate Key" button to generate the API keys, as illustrated image below.

   

   👉 - Once the key is generated, you will go to the subscription section to add the subscriptions, as shown in the image below.

   

   👉 -Click the "Subscribe APIs" button to add the subscriptions, as shown in the image below.

   

   👉 - Now, you will add the subscription by clicking the "Subscribe" button, as shown in the image below.

   

   👉 -After clicking the "Subscribe" button, your application will be ready to use.

6. Step 6

   Go to Production keys and scroll down the page and then change the default time from 3600 to 86400 in all of the fields shown in the image below, then click on update at the bottom.

   
7. Step 7

   Once updated, you can copy and paste the Consumer API details in the appropriate fields.

   

8. Step 8

To start algomojo click on this link-

Login with Kotak New User

To initiate Algomojo, click on the above link. Upon redirection, you will be directed to the Algomojo new user portal.

9 Step 9

After opening the new user tab, utilize the copied API details acquired during the process of obtaining your Kotak portal credentials. Subsequently, use these credentials to log in to Algomojo. Ensure accurate updating of the information.

Step 1: Initiating Algomojo

To start Algomojo, click on the above link. Upon redirection, you will be directed to the Algomojo portal. Enter the client ID, PAN/mobile number, and password to log in.
